- Lot Description
Collection of (4) Pieces of American Arts & Crafts Period Pottery, by Volkmar, Cambridge, and Owens, all in matte green glaze, including: Leaf panel decorated vase by Volkmar Pottery (Bedford Village, NY, 1879-1911), incised 'V' mark on base, 7 3/4" high, 3 3/4" diam.; Squatty vase with leaf panels by Cambridge Pottery (Cambridge, OH, 1895-ca. 1918), incised acorn mark on base, 6" high, 6 1/4" diam.; Four-handle vase by Owens Pottery (Zanesville, OH, 1885-1929), with paneled cross-hatch decoration, unmarked, 8" high, 6" diam.; Low bowl by Owens Pottery, with molded faces and sunburst decoration, unmarked, 4 1/2" high, 9 1/2" diam. All pieces in good condition, with no chips, cracks or damage.
