Staffordshire Dark Blue Historic Transferware depicting images of George Washington, including: Teapot by Enoch Wood, Burslem, ca. 1790-1818, with Washington holding a document and standing before a tomb, impressed 'WOOD' on base, 7 1/4" high, 10" x 4 1/2", spider hairline to side, small chip to lid underside; Cream Jug depicting 'Mount Vernon, the Seat of Genl Washington', unknown maker, 4 5/8" high, 6" x 2 3/4", repaired chip under spout rim; and an 8 3/4" diam. 'States Plate' by Clews, ca. 1820, with images of Washington, Lady Justice, Lady Liberty, and a masonic symbol, centered by an English landscape scene and bordered by the names of fifteen states (with MA misspelled), impressed Clews mark on base, crazing on base, otherwise good condition.
