Marguerite de Angeli's "Book of Nusery and Mother Goose Rhymes", Doubleday & Company, Inc. Garden City, New York, 1954. Signed by the author in 1954 on the title page. Decorated cloth binding, illustrated. 12 1/2" x 9", 192 pages. Gift inscription on front free endpaper, child scribble on front endpaper; PLUS "Tales from Shakespeare" by Charles & Mary Lamb. with sundry pictures and illuminations (now for the first time published) both in colour and line by Elizabeth Shippen Green Elliott. Imprinted at Philadelphia by the Beck Engraving Company in Sansom Street near Independence Hall, Philadelphia, David McKay Company Publishers, 1922. Signed by Elliott on the front free endpaper. 377 pages. 9 1/2" x 7 1/4", orange cloth binding with gilt title and decoration, applied color illustration, top edge gilt. Light scuffs to binding, otherwise fine; PLUS "Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam" Rendered into English Verse by Edward Fitzgerald, with Illustrations by Edmund Dulac. Deluxe Edition. Garden City Publishing Co., Garden City , NY, 1937. Original pictorial cloth in publisher's slipcase with paste-on color plate. 197 pages, color frontispiece and 11 color plates. 9 1/2" x 7". Wear to slip, paint spots on spine, edge tear to two pages, gift inscription.
