- Lot Description
Burmese Buddhist Bible Sanskrit Scripture, Kammavaca Palm Leaf Prayer Manuscripts, in black lacquer text on gilt tablets, with the cover displayed above. Usually made by a monk in the temple and featuring Buddhist texts related to ordination and the rules of monkhood. Well framed with Asian form frame having brass hangers and containing double glazed secondary frames mounted within, OS: 41 1/2" x 29 3/4". Good condition, one has cracked glass.
