- Lot Description
Late 19th to early 20th c., including: Woodblock Printed Text, starting with three large characters, having many red collector's seals, the text carved in negative (white characters in black field) for the first section, followed by six panels of inked text (but all printed), ink on paper, 11- 3/4" x 159" on 13- 3/4" x 176" scroll with roller; PLUS Three Sheet Scroll, with handwritten first and last, ink on paper, with seals, eight character title; the text in center panel printed, fatigued. The three sheets are 11- 1/2" x 29", 11- 5/8" x 93- 1/2" & 11- 1/2" x 19", scroll is 12- 3/4" x 171", bends.
