Collection of (19) Native American Baskets, mostly from Maine, including: Penobscot sweetgrass and splint ovoid shape two-handled basket, 10" high (to top of handle), 8" diam.; Penobscot vase form ring handled basket, sweetgrass and splint, with glass liner, 8 1/4" high, 6 1/2" diam.; Triangular shape wall pocket, with curly weave decoration, curved handle, 9 1/2" high, 3 2/4" wide, damage to woven band below rim; (3) Assorted round lidded baskets ash splint and sweetgrass, 4 5/8" to 6 1/4" diam.; Tightly woven round lidded basket with geometric decoration in orange and tan, top finial, 5" high, 5 3/4" diam., fraying of finial; (3) Assorted flat baskets, 7" to 10" diam.; (3) Round lidded baskets with ring finials, colored ash splint and sweetgrass, 3 1/2" diam. to 7 1/4" diam.; Acorn form basket purse, splint and sweetgrass, with ring handle, 6 1/2" high, 4 1/2 diam (with handle, 13" high), broken clasp; Round basket woven of sweetgrass and multicolor willow, 4 1/2" high, 7 1/4" diam.; Square handkerchief basket of splint and sweetgrass, 2 1/4" high, 6 1/4" sq.; Small round handled basket with curly woven decoration, 6" high, 5" diam., handle cracked; Small square handled splint basket, 3 1/2" high, 3 3/4" sq., broken/missing rim splints; Round splint basket, 3" high, 3 3/4" diam.
