- Lot Description
Large English Pearlware Figurine, depicting a woman in classical dress holding a laurel wreath crown, ca. 1798, impressed 'Wedgwood & Co.', probably for Ralph Wedgwood's firm (Josiah's nephew) at Hill Works, Burslem and later at Ferrybridge in Yorkshire, on faux marble painted round base, 19 1/4" high, 8 7/8" diam. 1/2" wide chip on back just above base, otherwise good condition.
