"Magnae Britanniae et Hiberniae Tabula", hand colored copperplate engraving on wove paper, by Willem Janszoon Blaeu (1571-1638), based on the plates of Joducus Hondius, depicting England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, with part of France and Holland and an inset of the Orkney Islands. Joined sheets, as issued. In a black and gold frame, matted and glazed, OS: 21 3/4" x 26 3/4", SS: 15 1/4" x 20 3/4". Toned. References: Van der Krogt 1, 5000:1C; Shirley (BI to 1650), #435.
