  Sienna Hawk, Mother Earth, Jewelry, Copper, Fine Silver, Earrings The conceptualization of the phrase ‘Mother Earth’ dates back to the ancient Greeks. The goddess Gaia, the first of the Greek gods, birthed all life from her womb and in turn, all life depends on her support. This personification of the planet and its ecosystem have existed in numerous cultures throughout human history. This piece takes the concept of Mother Earth in a literal sense, with each earring displaying a different visual of our planet nested within a feminine figure. The earring wires are handmade from silver, and the figure is made from a continuous strand of copper wire. They are lightweight and have a flowing movement on the body.
