Sienna Hawk, Bison Tracks, 2020, Jewelry, Copper, fine silver, Necklace + Earings This piece is an exploration of the American Bison, specifically the Plains subspecies which famously has a natural population in Yellowstone National Park. The species is incredibly migratory in nature, leaving distinctive tracks as the herds move through an area. The earrings portray these hoofprint trails and the migratory movement of the herds, as the earrings continuously move with the body’s movement. Accompanying the earrings is a pendant reflecting the stoic and unbothered expression of a bison.New
