Large Framed Photographic Portrait of Emily Kame Kngwarreye at Delmore Downs, 1994
93.5cm x 80cm (frame size), 90cm x 76cm (sheet size), 71cm x 57.5cm (image size). Framed silver gelatin photograph.
A large framed full-length portrait of the artist sitting on the ground with one of her paintings behind her. Numbered 2/15 and signed by the photographer below the image [1994]. Together with a copy of Australian Artists Portraits by Greg Weight (Sydney, 2004). The photograph offered here is reproduced on page 21.
Provenance: Private collection, Brisbane.Collections: A smaller unnumbered and unsigned print (45 x 35 cm image size) is held by the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra.
Photograph is in Fine Condition. Minor soiling to frame. Foxing to verso of foamcore backing. Very Good Condition.
