26cm x 20cm. x, 160 pages, 34 tipped in colour plates, black and white illustrations in text. Brown cloth, gilt lettering and decoration.The second impression with illustrations by Arthur Rackham. Translated from the German Der Ring des Nibelungen by Margaret Armour. This copy with the bookplate of Margaret Lyall.
Some discolouration and flecking to cloth. Previous owner's name. Ghosting to front flyleaf from related newspaper clippings and ephemera laid in. Very minor foxing and soiling. Very Good Condition.
