First Edition. Inscribed by Author.
30.5cm x 21cm. x, 400 pages. Red leatherette, gilt lettering, all edges gilt.This copy specially bound for Queensland Police Commissioner Noel Newnham, with his name in gilt on the upper board. Inscribed by the author "To Noel, let’s hope this can help restore the Police Service." Noel Newnham came to Queensland from the Victorian Police Service to become the 16th Police Commissioner on 1 November 1989. He was selected from dozens of Australian and overseas applicants to oversee massive reforms of the Queensland Police Force in the wake of the Fitzgerald Inquiry.
