17cm x 11cm. xiv, 464, [2] pages, 92 advertisements, 1 folding map. Green cloth, worn gilt lettering.Pugh's annual almanac founded by Theophilus Parsons Pugh was a commercial guide to Queensland businesses, places, and events together with a summary of important events which occurred in the previous year, statistics, weather and astronomical observations, and a directory of government and business. A valuable guide for Queensland history research. The 1879 volume with a folding colour map. This copy from the collection of notable botanist Frederick Manson Bailey, with his signature to the title page.
Lower joint split, spine back coming off, presenting fairly in protective wraps. Small closed tear to map. Fair Condition.
