First Edition.
21cm x 14cm. 84 pages, 1 folding map, 1 folding plate. Half leather, gilt lettering.Despatched by the Central Australian Exploring and Prospecting Association, Limited, under the auspices of the Royal Geographical Society of Australasia, South Australian Brance. Togther with map; List of Botanical Specimens, described by Baron Sir Ferd. von Mueller. K.C.M.G., F.R.S., &c.;, and Professor R. Tate, F.L.S.; also Catalogue of Geological Specimens, described by H. Y. L. Brown, F.G.S., Govt. Geologist of South Australia; with Geological Sketch of the Country passed over. The first edition, printed in an edition of 600 copies, of this important account of exploration of the Northern Territory, written in journal form. FERGUSON 17169.
Rubbing to leather, upper joint cracking at tail, still firm. Previous owner's names. Very Good Condition.
