First Edition. Signed by Author.
22cm x 15cm. 144 pages, 41 tipped in plates, illustrations in the text, some colour. Patterned cloth, gilt lettering.The first of Barnett's surveys on bookplates, includes an original etching by Sydney Long and numerous plates by Australian artists Sydney Ure Smith, Adrian Feint, John Godson, Gayfield Shaw, Tom Roberts, Lionel Lindsay, Norman Lindsay, and others. One of the Standard Edition of 300 copies signed by the author, of which this is number 213.
Front hinge cracked, still intact but very tender. Otherwise clean and bright. Good Condition.
