Martha studied art at Antioch College, the School of Visual Arts, and most recently at the Art Students League where she concentrated on printmaking, both relief and intaglio. Since the pandemic, she has started doing white-line woodcuts.
Martha has had solo shows at the Blue Mountain Lake Art Gallery in Blue Mountain Lake, NY and the Morningside Library in New York City. Her work has appeared in many group shows, most recently in the Allied Artists of America 108th Annual Show at the Salmagundi Club in New York CIty. Her prints have also been seen in group shows at the Monmouth Museum in Lincroft, NJ, Silvermine Art Center in New Canaan, CT, and the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, CT.
Recent awards include 2017 Gold Medal Award for Graphics from Audubon Artists, 2020 Honorable Mention from the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, and 2019 and 2021 Certificates of Merit in the Salmagundi Open Exhibitions.
