Evelyn Eller went to the Art Students League for 3 years on a scholarship. She later studied in Rome, Italy on a Fulbright Fellowship. and was awarded a residency at Yaddo in Saratoga Springs, NY. She has exhibited widely, at the Whitney, Queens and Brooklyn Museums in NY, the Smithsonian, Corcoran Gallery of Art in Wash. D.C.. and many International spaces. She is represented in many public collections in the US and abroad, including the Metropolitan Museum, Museum of the city of NY, MOMA, Brooklyn Museum, and Queens Museum, New York Historical Society in NY. and many university collections. She has worked in various mediums, oil and acrylic paintings, printmaking, collage and artist's books. Her interest in travel and other cultures is reflected in the use of different languages in her books and collages as well as her landscape images.
