Artist Bio: A lifelong passion to create led Dianna to earn a degree in Art Education and a Masters in Instructional Leadership from the University of Southern Maine. During the 21 years she taught the Visual Arts to high school students in Maine, Dianna created land and seascape paintings focused on evoking an emotional response and appreciation for nature through color harmony and dynamic light. She explores creating compelling paintings that communicate a sense of time and place, peace and relaxation.
Dianna has studied with Master artists in Maine, New Hampshire, Florida and abroad from artists including among others; Stacy Barter, Don Demers, Manon Sander, Roger Dale Brown, David Lussier, David P. Curtis and John MacDonald. Dianna is a member of American Women Artists, Oil Painters of America, The American Artists Professional League, The National Oil & Acrylic Society and The American Society of Marine Artists. She is represented by Dianna Anderson Fine Art Studio & Gallery in Kennebunk, Maine and by High Tide Studio & Gallery in Naples, Florida.
