  Artist Bio: Gary Eckhart holds an MFA from Yale University School of Drama and resides in Warren, VT where he is co-owner of Moosewalk Studios and Gallery. His work is represented by the Artisans' Gallery in Waitsfield, VT; the Art In The Village Gallery in Warren, VT; Art Hound Gallery in Essex, VT and Frog Hollow Gallery in Burlington,VT. Gary is a signature member of the Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society, the Northeast Watercolor Society, the Illinois Watercolor Society and the Vermont Watercolor Society. He is president emeritus of Mad River Valley Arts and serves as founder/curator of the annual Green Mountain Watercolor Exhibition. His award-winning paintings have been shown in national watercolor shows and are in collections in both North and South America and Europe. In 2015 he received the Arthur Williams Award for Service to the Arts from the Vermont Arts Council. He is a sought after workshop conductor.
