framed: H 28 x W 16 inchesArtist Bio: A storyteller by nature, Victoria Mauldin's Contemporary Realism artwork includes traditional Western art, and a series called "Imaginative Realism".
Working in oils and acrylics, Mauldin's paintings are deeply rooted in the culture and environment of the Southwest. She provides a close encounter with "nature's perfection" and the cultural influences so intertwined in this country's history. Imaginative Realism paintings go beyond story telling by stretching the boundaries of reality as we know it, evoking viewer inquiry and interpretation. Regardless of genre, her work remains true to her realistic style in subject matter and presentation.
Victoria has received numerous awards and recognitions during 25 years in N.M. and her work hangs in several public buildings (most recently, Space Force One RDE, Kirkland AFB), and in private collections from California to Florida.
