Artist Bio: Originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and I am fortunate to have had the Delaware Valley countryside as the inspiration for my work. When I choose a subject, it becomes much more than trying to reproduce something. I am actually trying to tell its story integrated with my own feelings, thoughts and experiences. I usually set up my French easel on location to block in the subject and to catch the light. I may later return for several painting sessions at the same time of day. Ultimately, I will add the final touches in my studio. My work has won major awards and has been featured in publications such as Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine. More than the recognition, nothing means more to me than when someone loves and appreciates my work enough that they want to take it home and hang it on their wall. I am honored to be an Artist Member of the Salmagundi Club, Fellow American Artists Professional League, and Artist Member (Oil) The Allied Artists of America.
