Exhibits & Awards: Hudson Valley Art Association open juried show, Pastel Society of America open juried show, Salmagundi Club Open Juried Show, Art Centre of New Jersey Award of Excellence.
Artist Bio: Elaine L Denton is Brooklyn (NY) born and raised and currently living in Livingston NJ. She works primarily in pastel and gouache both together and separately. She is primarily interested in the urban landscape as well as people. Ms Denton's objective is to bring attention to the urban environment and/or the figure and the details in which she finds beauty and character. Her art education includes the Brooklyn Museum Art School, The Art Students League of NY, study with Frederick Brosen, Ellen Eagle, Valeri Larko, Dan Gheno, and Harvey Dinnerstein, and workshops with Daniel Greene, Frank Federico, and Burton Silverman. She has exhibited widely winning prizes at, but not limited to, the Salmagundi Club Open National Juried show, Allied Artists of America Grand National Exhibition and The Pastel Society of New Jersey where she is a Distinguished Signature Member.

Upon payment consent to release contact information to the artist and the shipper is implied. Shipping will be arranged by the Artist to be paid by the Buyer directly to the shipper.
