• Lot Description

  Out to Sea Again by Del-Bourree Bach, Signature Member, Mystic, CT

  Painting: acrylic on panel
  sight size: 8x8 inches
  framed: 13x13 inches

  This painting was inspired by seeing the Mayflower II during her sea trials after she was fully restored at Mystic Seaport and ready for sail again. Living in Mystic, I was able to see the progress of the work in the shipyard, as well as her launch when the work was done.
  After that she was visible for sometime as she sailed around the area, testing her "wings", a timeless vision, a tiny ship from another time, off on another voyage.

  Artist Bio: Contemporary realist painter Del-Bourree Bach has been a successful working artist for over 40 years. His work is represented by galleries throughout the country and has received more than 250 awards in regional, national and international competition. His paintings are often inspired by the beauty and power of nature and our fragile and complex relationship with it.
  Much of his work is centered on the sea and the life in and around it, but he also enjoys paintings many diverse subjects, from rural farms to city streets.

Upon payment consent to release contact information to the artist and the shipper is implied. Shipping will be arranged by the Artist to be paid by the Buyer directly to the shipper.
