Sabrina
by Kerry Vosler, Associate Artist Member, Brandon, Florida
Painting: Oil on Linen
sight size: 40 x 30
framed size: 43 x 33 by 3 inches deep. Custom antique gold frame
This painting was part of a series of professional Flamenco Dancers who live in work in the Tampa Bay, Florida. Sabrina was on a break in my studio and I turned around and saw this sleeping beauty and felt inspired to paint her sleeping in the chair in my North light studio. Her father was mentored by Jose Greco, Italian America Flamenco Dancer, and her mother was also a Flamenco dancer. When Sabrina was born her mother and father were in Hawaii performing with Charo, the Spanish American actress & Spanish guitarist. Charo went over the selected names for the baby and said, I like Sabrina.
