  Drawing: Graphite on Strathmore 400 paper

  framed size: 12'H X 13'W double matted and framed with plexiglass

  Artist Bio: Janis Mattson's work has been juried into numerous national and international exhibitions, including the Society of Animal Artists 'Art and the Animal', The Bennington Center for the Arts 'Art of the Animal Kingdom', the American Women Artists National Exhibit, and the prestigious Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum's 'Birds in Art'. She is a Signature Member of the Society of Animal Artists; an Associate With Distinction Member of the American Women Artists and an Audubon Artists Elected Member. In 2020 she was awarded the Audubon Artists Gold Medal of Honor for graphics.
