  Artist Bio: A Denver native, Georgene absorbed herself in academia, while finding a natural ability in athletics. She graduated with a BS degree from SMU with honors. With her love of children, she has given years to the Boards of Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers and involved with Women/Junior golf programs. With her family, she has excelled in skiing and adventure travels.
  While growing up, I had no significant exposure to any form of art, however, in my mid-fifties, a chance touch of clay turned my world around! The clay felt natural to my hands, like the feel of soil, while gardening, and my wish was to capture, in bronze the innocence of children, and the individual uniqueness of animals. Joyfully, I hope to have added beauty to many gardens around the country.
  You can easily imagine from my varied experiences in my studies and life itself, my sculptures became eclectic in style and subject matter. I still delight in sculpting realistic children and animals, but recently have enjoyed working with a freer and more stylized form, surprising both the viewer and myself.

Upon payment consent to release contact information to the artist and the shipper is implied. Shipping will be arranged by the Artist to be paid by the Buyer directly to the shipper.
