Not framedArtist Bio: Albert showed an early interest in art and painted as a hobby through his teenage years. He was accepted as an art major at the State University College at Buffalo on a tuition-free scholarship. As an undergraduate, he studied for a semester at the University of Siena, Italy.
After graduating with a degree in Liberal Arts, Albert joined the Peace Corps and served for two years in Buyo, Korea. There, he studied brush and ink painting with a Korean master artist.
Upon returning to the States, Albert continued to teach various subjects in the Yonkers and NYC public school systems and was an instructor at Manhattan College. He completed a Master's Degree at Columbia University and then began painting botanical subjects.
Albert prefers painting with the watercolor medium for its transparency, brilliancy and serendipitous effects. Besides watercolor, Albert also dabbles in graphite drawing, photography, writes poetry and tends his garden. - Shipping Info

Payment in full is required prior to shipment. Domestic shipping occurs normally within 10 days of full payment receipt. Upon payment consent to release contact information to the artist and the shipper is implied. Shipping will be arranged by the Artist to be paid by the Buyer directly to the shipper. The Buyer will be directly responsible for customs and additional fees involved with International shipping. Email the artist for questions/alternatives/discussion.
