My Seascape, Sailing Ships glide across the oceans. I use traditional materials, watercolors on paper, and oils on canvas, My brush strokes move gently across the paper, or canvas. Everything is captured in the spontaneous strokes and movement of the brush."
These Colorful Oil paintings, and Watercolors of New Jersey RR station which was vary much part of the residents' daily live. It was a time when the Railroads, operated at their peak. CNJ RR, Delaware Lackawanna & Western RR, Erie RR, Morris & Essex RR, NY & Long Branch RR, Pennsylvania RR, West Shore RR. The trains were bound for Hoboken, and Jersey City, Long Branch, and Atlantic City.
In many American cities during the Industrial Revolution, the railway tracks went through the industrial area of the town, as most rail traffic involved moving freight.
Those who lived near the industrial areas was living on the wrong side of the tracks they had lower rents, higher rates of pollution, blue collar jobs, higher crime, and cramped living conditions. Since those areas were disproportionately clustered around railroad tracks, the clear area required for train tracks became a sort of demarcation zone between 'better' and 'worse' areas of a city.
