  This piece is a plein air study for a commissioned oil series in Normandy, followed by a solo exhibit in the USA

  Artist Bio: Catherine Kinkade, an accomplished landscape painter, works in oil, mixed media, monotype, and pastel. She is a Master Pastelist of the Pastel Society of America (PSA). Her work is in national collections (commissions for Tiffany, AT&T, Exxon, BASF, and many others), and international collections in England, Scotland, France, South Africa and Brazil. She has won five Best-in-Show awards at national annual exhibits (NYC) of the PSA and CLWAC, including the Koumjian Award for Innovation in Fine Art in 2018.
  A founder of Viridian Print Studio, she has taught color and painting en plein air for many years at the Montclair Art Museum. She currently has a solo retrospective exhibit at the Academy Square Gallery, Montclair NJ.
