Artist Bio: Vickie McMillan-Hayes, a native Texan masterfully creates breathtaking wildlife, landscape and nature paintings as well as large public installations that advance global conservation causes. Her installations have included public buildings, museums, hospitals, libraries, schools, correctional facilities, and other government organizations. Her paintings have a distinct style to accommodate her disability called Essential Tremors. To create detail, she holds her breath while embracing her painting hand in order to achieve the desired stroke. McMillan-Hayes’s award-winning paintings have been exhibited in private collections, art museums and fine art galleries throughout the country and abroad.
