Artist Bio: Shelley Smith is drawn to subjects that appear to have stories to tell. They're typically well-worn, like a favorite pair of jeans. With a particular affection for structures, she tends to romanticize them in her paintings.
Shelley knew her colors before she could talk and has been creating art for as long as she can remember. Although exposed to a wide variety of mediums, she's specifically focused on oil painting for 20+ years. Shelley is a member of Oil Painters of America, International Guild of Realism, American Artists Professional League (elected member), and American Women Artists (signature member).
