PUBLISHER: Arion Press, 1998
DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a signed, limited edition of With the Night Mail by Rudyard Kipling and illustrated with 32 two-color illustrations by Vincent Perez. Arion Press published the book in 1998. This auction includes two folios with four signed, hand-colored prints featured in the book. Each offset print is pencil signed by Perez. Each print is hand-colored with yellow watercolor, as the final print appears in the Arion Press edition, see photos. Each image is one-of-a-kind. There are two prints per sheet. The Arion Press only produced 250 of the signed books. This is copy number 107.The book is in fine condition with no noticeable flaws, see photos. No internal markings, other than Perez's signature. No previous owner's bookplate. The spine and boards are square and straight. The prints are in near-fine condition with minor warping to the paper due to the yellow watercolor application, see photos. The book and prints will be packaged in a box and shipped via USPS Media Mail.Condition
