TITLE: The Age of Innocence (Arion Press, San Francisco, 2004)
DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a beautiful signed, limited edition of Edith Wharton’s novel The Age of Innocence published by the Arion Press in 2004. The book is illustrated by renowned photographer Stephen Shore. This production was limited to 300 numbered copies and is signed by Shore on the book's colophon. This is copy number 82. The book was printed by letterpress on mould-made Velata paper from Magnani mill in Italy. The photographs were printed by offset-lithography on Potlatch Vintage paper.The book is in fine condition with minor wear to the board edges, see photos. The spine is square and straight. There are no interior markings, other than Shore's signature. There are no previous-owner's bookplate. The slipcase is in near fine condition with minor shelf wear, see photos. The book will be carefully packaged in a box and shipped USPS Media Mail.Condition
