TITLE: Creek Rising
MEDIUM: Etching
OVERALL SIZE: Framed, Image Size, 9" x 8", Overall Size, 18 1/2" x 16 1/2"
DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a pencil signed and inscribed limited edition etching by North Carolina artist Maud Gatewood. The print dates from 1976 and is entitled Creek Rising. It is based on a painting done by Gatewood that same year. The painting was titled County Line - Creek Rising. This is an artist's proof from an unknown limited edition.The etching is in fine condition with no apparent issues, see photos. The etching was not viewed outside of the frame. The wood frame is in very good condition with minor wear at the edges, see photos. The print will be carefully packaged and shipped in a box.Condition
