DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a signed, limited edition book El Mundo de Jose Luis Cuevas with commentary by Mexican writer Carolo Fuentes and illustrated with works by Cuevas. Only 100 of the signed, leather-bound editions were produced. This is copy number 9 and is beautifully bound in red, black, gold, and gray leather. The slipcase is also bound in leather and fabric. The book is signed by Cuevas, Fuentes, and Valencia on the book's colophon.The book is in very good with wear and loss to the top and bottom of the leather spine, areas of separation at the upper front and back leather boards, as well as wear to the bottom, top and front board edges, see photos. The interior of the book is in fine condition. No internal markings other than Cuevas, Fuentes, and Valencia's signatures. No previous owner's bookplate or markings. The spine and boards are square and straight. The slipcase is in good condition with shelf wear, areas of fading, and spots of separation at the board edges, see photos. The book will be shipped in a box USPS Media Maiil.Condition
