DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a pencil signed and numbered limited edition lithograph by Mexican artist Jose Luis Cuevas. The lithograph features a quote by Mexican poet and Nobel Prize winner Octavio Paz. Paz has pencil signed below the quote. The quote reads: "Desde el fondo del tiempo, Desde el fondo del nino, Cada dia Jose Luis dibuja nuestra herida" (From the depths of time, From the depths of the child, Every day Jose Luis draws our wound). This lithograph comes from a limited print editoin of only 500. This is print number 310. The print was printed in 1976.The lithograph is in fine condition minor wear and toning to the edges, see photos. The images and colors are bright and sharp. The print will be carefully packaged and shipped in a reinforced cardboard tube USPS Priority Mail.Condition
