DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a signed, limited edition of James Baldwin's masterpiece The Fire Next Time featuring the photographs of Steve Schapiro and published by Taschen in 2017. Taschen limited the signed edition to only 1,813 copies. This is copy 227. The book is signed by Schapiro on the book's colophon.The book and slipcase are in fine, as new condition, and still sealed in the publisher's original plastic wrap, see photos. The spine and boards are tight and straight. There are no internal markings, other than Schapiro's signature. There is no previous owner's bookplate. The book will be carefully packaged in a box and shipped via USPS Media Mail.Condition
