OVERALL SIZE: Unframed, matt size, 20" x 16", image size, 4 1/2" x 3 1/2"
DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is an original signed pencil sketch by American artist Ernest Melchert entitled Old Quebec. The sketch presents an impressionist cityscape taken from his experience in Quebec, Canada. The sketch is pencil signed. This is a beautiful piece from a well known, but underappreciated American artist.The sketch is in fine condition with no noticeable flaws, foxing, or discoloration, see photos. In the upper two corners and lower left corner of the paper there are three old tape marks, these do not impact the image and are covered up with the works matting, see photos. The work is matted, but unframed. The print will be carefully packaged in a box.Condition
