- Lot Description
Metal and glass construction with electric dials, 1967, unmarked. 14 x 25 1/2 x 4 1/2 in. Note: This work is an example of Takis interest in a random movement in space and time, electromagnetized signals and lights. Magnets move the hands on the dials and make the lights flicker in unpredictable sequences. Takis' dials and magnets have been constructed in a stylized way to represent the power of magnetism and energy. Literature: Arts Magazine, Feb., 1969, volume 43, no. 4, cover illustration.
