Label in jacket, with client information in proper right breast pocket (dated May 23, 1986). Single-breasted blazer with notched lapels, flap besom pockets at hips, and functional buttons at cuffs, unvented; matching pleated-front, cuffed trousers, both lined with yellow synthetic. Together with additional scraps of the same fabric and another wool check in green, with pieces of blue and red lining fabrics and client card with details of suit construction.

Note: Although created for him in 1986, André wore this suit for years afterwards, as evidenced by a photo of him with model Kristen McMenamy at New York Fashion Week, ca. 1994. In good overall condition, with wear to lining on trouser interior seat. The shirt and tie photographed with the suit are not included in this lot.
