The bound book, 1975, number 468 of 1000, in a cardboard slipcover.
9 1/4 x 6 3/4 in.
Note: Beuys created a series of drawings inspired by the discovery of two lost Leonardo da Vinci sketchbooks in the 1960s. The drawings, and the subsequent book of prints, illustrate Beuys' commitment to the relationship of art and science, one of the main themes in his body of work.
