- Lot Description
With a fitted interior with hidden compartments
In two parts; 7 ft. 3 in. x 41 1/2 x 23 in.
Note: With highly unusual drawers of the upper section lined single walnut panel bases.
Condition
Wear is consistent with age and use. Veneer replacements, age splits, staining, nicks and wear throughout. The upper section with age splits on the door fronts and one drawer does not open. New drawer pull on the right candle slide. Age splits and stains on the slant-front with staining and wear to the writing surface. Lacking veneer on the well slide. Hinges replaced on the slant front. Handles and escutcheons are later in date, one handle missing. A few replacements to the back boards with additional support elements under the base.
