The Metropolitan Opera mounted its second production of La Forza in 1952 under the direction of Herbert Graf, with stage and costume design by Eugene Berman. The Graf-Berman Forza was revised and presented again in 1975, after Berman's death, directed by John Dexter, with James Levine, conductor.
