- Lot Description
Most unmarked, the serving bowl with a double blue circle mark.
Comprising:
Eight plates
A pair of shaped square vegetable dishes and covers
A shaped square serving bowl
A navette form compote
Four oval platters in three sizes
A pair of sauce tureens and covers
A shell shaped dish
The plates 9 1/4 in. diam., (19 pcs).
Condition
Each with minor wear, some abrasions and losses to the decoration and rubbing to the gilding. A few with minor nibbles to the foot. One plate with a star shaped hairline to field, several with stacking wear. One vegetable dish cover with minor rim chips. The navette compote with hairline cracks to the base. The platters with stacking wear, the largest with a very small crack to the underside of the rim. One sauce tureen with several hairline cracks and an associated rim chip. The shell dish with a shallow star shaped crack to the base. Otherwise in good condition.
