- Lot Description
Bearing marks London, 1761; Andrew Fogelberg and Stephen Gilbert, 1781; the largest with marks rubbed; comprising one oval serpentine and two ten-sided, each fluted bowl within pierced vine border applied with grotesque masks, the pierced stem on dome foot applied with relief figural ovals, later lacquered, probably later gilded and lacquered. Top and bases adapted. 6 7/8 x 5 7/8 in. diam. and 14 3/4 x 9 1/2 in. diam., approx. 124 oz.
