- Lot Description
Watercolor and gouache on wove paper, inscribed 'Arch. M. Bacciocchi, Milano, Italy'. 23 3/4 x 35 3/4 in. (sheet), 29 1/4 x 41 1/4 in. (frame). Note: A version of this shrine was erected in 1954 in East Boston near Logan Airport and the Don Orione Home for the Elderly. It was built "to fulfill the desires of Done Orione that beside every work of chairty there would be a work of faith".
