Lars-Gustaf Sellstedt (Swedish/Am.1819-1911) oil on canvas portrait of young boy. Family history says this is the portrait of Edwin Morgan Fargo (1861-1865) son of William Fargo, founder of Wells-Fargo and American Express with his partner Henry Wells. Edwin died at an early age and this is believed to be him. Sellstedt was a prominent portrait painter in Buffalo, N.Y. in the 1960's.
