Valerii Veduta, My wife by the window during power outage in Kyiv, Ukraine, 2022
Description: "War Times Family Album" is a project that documents my family life in Kyiv. Far away from the front line but still inside the largest military conflict in recent history. It is not direct documentation of a war and al its horrors but rather a poem about one's mixed feelings at a times when casual life and war are combined in a new "not normal normal". Images shoot on 4x5 inches large format camera then printed using gum dichromate technique and digitised afterwards. Ukrainian soil used as a printing pigment.
