I explore such topics as: the sensitivity of humans, mental stress in the society of today, war consequences for children, displacement, impairments, anxiety, loss, mourning, and uncertainty.
Description: It was in August when I encountered young boys playing with toy guns in the village of my grandparents, which was deoccupied in spring 2022. I remember these kids stopping every car, which was about to enter the village, fearlessly running behind every vehicle and checking the purpose of the visit. They were from a local school, having holidays, which were different from any other free time from school, I could imagine. The boys were friendly and from time to time seemed to be quite proud of being photographed. Observing this childish curiosity and them being so involved in the game, I felt myself as one of these little defenders, making sure there are no aliens in town.

At the end of the auction, Spilka will provide a shipping estimate and add it to your final invoice. If you win multiple items, we will combine shipping.
